Beading Bits

We had a great meeting in June.   Mary taught us the DNA spiral (mine is about 5 inches long now, I’m hoping to finish by our July meeting).  

In July, Reyne is going to teach us  to make beautiful earrings using circular brick stitch.   

Please bring:  

Size 11 seed beads

Size 8 seed beads

3 or 4mm fire polish beads, 6/0 seed beads, or other fairly round 3-4mm beads

Approx ½” closed ring or circle part of toggle clasp

Ear wire

Thread

Needle

Scissor

We will have a table at Treasures of the Earth in Virginia Beach on July 16.

Our next meeting will be July 17, from 2-4 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2730 Bridge Road, Suffolk, VA.

Beading Bits

At our May meeting, we made earring holders out of shoe moulding and fiberglass mesh screen.

Our next meeting will be on Sunday June 19th at 2PM at 2730 Bridge Road in Suffolk. Mary will teach us to make a DNA Spiral chain.   Please bring:  2 colors of size 8 or 11 seed beads, thread, a needle and scissors.
